This song is actually a cover song from my old band The Reese Witherspoon Disaster which means that it's old. The original version doesn't have a full band behind it, so I decided I would add that which I think is pretty cool.
The song is about how sex icons and young adults on TV spread their bullshit through media that is emulated by teens and resulting in teen pregnancies and a life of instability. It's not just about the bullshit people on TV, it's how the media also destroys their lives.
